ABOUT TWO HEARTED TIMBER
My name is Cory Howes, a Michigan Registered Forester and owner of Two Hearted Timber LLC. With the variety of land management services Two Hearted Timber provides, I can offer many sustainable and profitable options to help you make well-informed decisions which align with your short-term and long-term goals for your property.
Two Hearted Timber LLC works with private landowners to develop management plans, enhance recreational use and wildlife habitat, design efficient forest road construction, and manage timber harvesting. I also offer information regarding state and federal programs which provide tax benefits and/or support sustainable land-management. From the management plan, to applying the appropriate prescription and logging crew, I can be responsible for all land management operations from start to finish.
I have fifteen years of experience working in forestry, wildlife management, and environmental enhancement and am fully certified to perform a wide variety of services to meet your land-management needs. My Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Biology was awarded by Northern Michigan University and my Master’s Degree from Michigan Technological University.
